How to select and store

Unrefined camelina oil is considered the most useful; it is better to purchase the product in glass packaging, paying attention to the bottling date.

Storage rules:

  1. Temperature – no higher than +15°C, preferably in the refrigerator.
  2. No access to sunlight.
  3. The lid must be tightly closed after each use.
  4. Terms: unrefined - up to 12 months, refined - no more than 3 months.

Vitamin salad

Required:

  • fresh vegetables (1-2 tomatoes and cucumbers, a bunch of radishes, maybe ½ head of cabbage);
  • camelina oil – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • salt, black or red pepper, sugar - to taste.

Steps:

  1. Wash the vegetables, chop them, place them in a convenient bowl.
  2. Season with camelina product.
  3. Add salt/sugar, spices.
  4. Stir and you can serve.

If desired, add fresh herbs or cheese to the salad.

Salad Nutritious

Required:

  • tomatoes – 5-6 pcs.;
  • chicken ham – 350 g;
  • hard cheese – 200 g;
  • loaf – 300 g;
  • a glass of peas;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • greenery;
  • camelina product – 4 tbsp. l.
  • salt.

Steps:

  1. Pass the garlic through a press, cut the loaf into cubes (shaped like crackers), fry in sunflower oil until an appetizing crust appears.
  2. Wash the tomatoes and cut them.
  3. Mix garlic and camelina oil, add washed and finely chopped herbs to the dressing.
  4. Grate the cheese (it is better to use a fine grater, but not necessary). Cut the ham into strips.
  5. In a deep bowl, mix peas, tomatoes, and the resulting breadcrumbs. Add cheese and ham.
  6. Season, add salt to taste and stir.

Baked potatoes

Required:

  • potatoes – 0.5 kg;
  • zucchini – 0.5 kg;
  • ½ glass of milk;
  • 2 yolks;
  • Cheddar cheese – 300 g;
  • ½ tsp. grated nutmeg;
  • 3-4 sprigs of fresh dill;
  • salt/pepper - to taste;
  • camelina oil – 2 tbsp. l.

Steps:

  1. Boil the potatoes.
  2. Add milk to it and make a puree.
  3. Season the puree with camelina product and add nutmeg.
  4. Beat the yolks, grate the Cheddar, mix these ingredients. Add to puree.
  5. Cut the zucchini into thin rings, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Chop the greens.
  7. Grease a baking dish with sunflower oil.
  8. Carefully place the zucchini pieces on the bottom and sprinkle a little dill on top. The next layer is thinly laid out with puree. Next - again pieces. There should be a potato layer at the top.
  9. Place in the oven (temperature 180°C) for half an hour.

Unrefined oil is also used to prepare a variety of meat and fish dishes, marinades and sauces. It is also popular among vegetarians.
